DREAMCAST FORMAT ISSUE #1
Hi, I'm the editor of Dreamcast Format Nick Veitch! You may remember me from such
magazines as Amiga Computing and Amiga Format.
Well, as usual at DCF it's been a very interesting month. Just 2 days before we were
about to go to press Powerstone 2 popped through our letterbox and we had to work day and night,
eating nothing but take-away pizza to get the review done and get the mag out on time.
We're crazy guys!!
It's a very exciting time to be a Dreamcast owner at the moment, there are some
great games on the horizon and some exciting new developments in the world of online gaming.
I can't imagine any job I'd rather be doing than editing DCF.. except editing Amiga Format....
Why did they have to close the magazine down, I loved that magazine, and the Amiga was
just getting revved up for it's big relaunch too... why can't it be like the old days
when I used to hang out with the bitmap brothers and listen to Dave Pleasance playing his unique
brand of flamenco guitar... and they took away my lovely beige amiga 500, the bastards! it
had my entire bloody porn collection on it! took me ages to download that on my 2400 baud
modem off that WaR3Z BBS... now they want me to do my work on a crappy PC with it's non
multi-tasking OS... what a bunch of Lam3rZ... it's all gone wrong!!!
Hey, don't worry man, it's me David Bowie from the seventies! I think the new Amiga
will be the next big thing... have a puff on me bong man, you'll feel great!
