FAD OF THE WEEK

Not having a fad of the week!
(or any graphics of note)

This week JumpySpider.com won't be having a fad of the week, I'm wondering if it may turn out to be a fad in itself.. the irony!
Instead here is an exciting news round up, I suppose these could rate as fads but they don't really deserve a page each so here they are in a compact and bijou list form (may not actually be bijou)... Lists are the latest thing.

Bizarre Creations have re-affirmed their long-term goal to produce the worlds most spangly, shimery and downright flickery game of all time by announcing Metropolis Street Racer for PS2. MSR already holds the record for most flickery Dreamcast game with only early titles such as Virtua Fighter 3 giving it any kind of competition. With PS2 'spanglers' already ten a penny however, it's not going to be an easy ride.
Bizarre are hoping their revolutionary aliasing techniques and reverse mipmipping (which increases texture resolution at distance) will give them the edge they need to be the flicker kings. They're dubbing this new technology Flick On / Flick Off.. Didn't take long to get to that punchline did it?

JumpySpider lost it's spring. It appears I have been ripped off by my webhosting company (Easyspace.com, never ever trust them) so when I purchased two years web hosting I actually get two years domain name registration but only one year hosting, so I'm going to have to find a new server or fork out another 60 quid, almost as much as i paid in the first place... Anyway I've got until May 8th to raise the cash so I'll be having a sponsored downloadpornathon some time in april, check back for details.

Hard house is the new trance! Mauro-picotto is the new ATB! Nucleuz is the new Positiva!.. I've been trying to point this out for a while now, but my attention was caught recently when an advert came on TV for a Hard House compilation on Nucleuz records mixed by Mauro Picotto.. How right was I!.. I don't know what this proves other than my greatness
The dance sound of 2001 has been chosen, luckily it'll all be forgotten by christmas.

www.dictionary.com - brilliant! Now you can find out the meanings of all those arkward words like narcissistic that endlessly baffle you.
